Mobile blogging at the races

Since one of the main themes of this blog is how the bike industry is or is not leveraging Internet technology, I thought I'd point out this great post over at Operation Gadget about mobile blogging going on at the Wachovia Cycling Series.

I wonder how many people will be blogging from the floor of the Sands this year at Interbike? (I know what I'm asking for for Father's Day!)

I'm hoping to be one of those that post from Interbike this year. I use Wordpress for blogging and they have a plugin that allows Sprint customers to blog pictures directly from their phone.

If that doesn't work out, I'll def have a mobile sprint card in my laptop that will allow me to post from anywhere with cell reception.

It's my plan to have my laptop in my booth and download pictures and text at every possible moment during the show. Then when I walk around and meet with my vendoors, post shots of them and the new goodies.

If I could, I'd do streaming video of the entire show in the booth.
