Garage innovators take note
Many of the coolest (and craziest) products and ideas in the bike biz started from one guy in a garage with a big idea. I've been lucky to meet and work several of them and I'm always inspired and impressed with their energy and vision.
The Wall Street Journal just did a big feature on "profiting from your brainstorm" in their Monday, May 9th issue. It's got articles on important topics like doing market research, getting a patent, avoided common mistakes, and the all -important topic of knowing when to give up.
If you've got a big idea and you're wondering what to do next you should check it out. Unfortunately their site is pay-only but you can find the WSJ at any library. Once you've read it, drop me a line. I always enjoy hearing about new product ideas.
